Horse Barn Restoration Project

The Clinton County Fair barn restoration project is coming along slowly, but surely.  The stall fronts have been replaced and rubber mat footing has been placed in all stalls.  Future work will include the placing of footing down the center aisle, scrapping of metal, replacing of ropes on doors and a paint job.  Please thank the Clinton County Fair Association and especially Ruth Eoute for making the barn improvements.

The next work date is Wednesday, March 28 at the barns at the fairgrounds.  The fair association is having a work session beginning at 3 pm on this date.  Most 4-H helpers will try to come at this time, but have set a 5 pm goal to have the majority of helpers available.  Everyone is urged to bring shovels, rakes and brooms and a strong desire to continue the restoration.

A BIG Thank You to the recent helpers: Becky and Tom Charles for the use of the Tamper Equipment, Duffy Butler, Addison Bloom, Hunter Bloom, Ann Brunner, Abbey Foster, Roger Foster, Linda Hanna, Chrissy Jones, Tasha Jones, Kayla Kimble, Lea Ann Kimble, Aliyah Mallak, Lisa Mallak, Jacinta Miller, Cassidy Myers, Kelly Myers, Becky Smith, Avery Turner, Rachel Turner, Biff Walizer, Brian Yoas and Jacob Yoas.

Please help in spreading the word about the upcoming work session.  It would be helpful to let Becky Smith and/or Biff Walizer know if you will be able to attend on March 28 to help.  Please contact Becky at 570-748-6157.  Thanks.
