If you haven’t already heard, this year is Pennsylvania
4-H’s Centennial Year! This means that we are celebrating 100 years of
4-H in PA. A committee has been formed to plan more Centennial events for
the year, but in the meantime, here is an opportunity for your club to get
involved.
We will hold a 4-H Window Display Contest throughout the
county during PA 4-H Awareness Week March 11th-17th.
The flyer with instructions is located on the website at http://extension.psu.edu/clinton/programs/4-h/members/pa-4-h-week-window-display-contest/view for clubs
that would like to get involved. Displays will be judged and monetary
awards will be given for winning clubs. I would encourage you all to get
involved in this and any other efforts your club and the county decides to put
forth to promote the 4-H Centennial during Awareness Week and all year
long. 100 years is a big deal! Let’s Celebrate!
