Achievement Night Canceled- Awards List

After much consideration, we have decided to cancel the Achievement Night scheduled for Saturday, November 5th due to little attendance expected.  After much discussion regarding rescheduling, the decision has been made not to reschedule due to the upcoming holidays and availability of facilities.  We feel it is best to move forward into the new year.  However, it is important for youth and volunteers to be recognized for their efforts this year, so a list has been placed online at http://extension.psu.edu/clinton/programs/4-h/members.  Be sure to take a look at the document since many are being recognized for participation in various events along with some major awards.  We do encourage clubs to recognize their members at their next meeting and awards and gifts can be picked up at the Extension Office between November 7th and December 22nd

Project books may also be picked up during this time.  Leaders may obtain books for their members, but will be asked to sign for the books they take so that we can be sure none are lost.

This cancellation is unfortunate, but you can be assured that we will be planning to continue the event next year.  Thank you to all volunteers for your hard work and congratulations to all 4-H Members on a successful year!

Achievement Night Reminder

Dear 4-H Families,

The Clinton County 4-H Achievement Night on Saturday, November 5th is fast approaching.  It will be held at the Mill Hall Church of Christ and will be a pot luck dinner.  Dinner and a Silent Auction will begin at 6pm with the awards ceremony to follow.  Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish and clubs are asked to provide a theme basket for the silent auction.

We are planning to provide a meat dish on behalf of Clinton County 4-H.  So, it is extremely important that everyone register through e-data by Monday, October 31st if you plan to attend.  If you are bringing family members who are not members or volunteers and cannot register through e-data, please send me a note so that we have an accurate count.

I look forward to seeing many of you there!

The American Polocrosse Association provides opportunities for clinics, exchanges and tournaments.  Happy Valley Polocrosse Club is holding a Polocrosse Made Simple Clinic this Fall with Ryan Murphy, World Cup Player. It will be held on October 22nd and 23rd on Rt. 550 in Warriors Mark. Please check out the flyer and entry form that can be found at http://extension.psu.edu/clinton/programs/4-h/members/horses. This club is not part of or sanctioned by the PA State 4-H program.
