Attention 4-H Horse Members and Leaders.
In February 2010 a club was formed in Centre County called Happy Valley Polocrosse. This club is one of many in the American Polocrosse Association (http://www.americanpolocrosse.org/). If you have not heard of polocrosse, it is a fun and exhilarating horse sport that is best described as Lacrosse on horseback! Both mounted and unmounted practices are held. The American Polocrosse Association provides opportunities for clinics, exchanges and tournaments. Happy Valley Polocrosse Club is holding a Polocrosse Made Simple Clinic this Fall with Ryan Murphy, World Cup Player. It will be held on October 22nd and 23rd on Rt. 550 in Warriors Mark. I graduated from Southern Huntingdon County High School and was always very invovled with the 4-H & FFA along with other sports and activities.
