Announcement for Horse Members

We have a few new members this year in 4-H that are not aware of the activities that go on at the State horse show complex October 28th -31st. Anyone can help in the decoration and hospitality livestock, textiles, teen, not just horse members. concider this you invatation to get involved. This is a good opportunity for the 4-H member that missed qualifying to get involved and show their county support. The Good house keeping / Hospitality contest is a state level contest and is a county wide activity.
As qualifying members arrive to the farm show complex and get their animals settled the stall decorations will be started as members find time to between practice sessions in the arenas. Help with this display is needed and appreciated, not to mention fun.
The first available time for anyone to get into the Farm show building is 11a.m. Decoration can be started any time after 11 a.m.
Amy will have the curtains and supplies ready at 11 a.m. for anyone to begin. The plan for the decorations is fairly straight forward little direction will be needed for installation.

The State horse show stall decorating committee has had its last meeting on Tuesday October 5th.  The members worked very hard on their decoration and did a very good job. This was a very ambitious undertaking.
You have all worked hared to get to this event and made your leaders  and parents very proud. It is my wish that everyone have a great time at the Farm show complex and remember to check out the other activities like Model horse show and the Dance and to see the educational displays and activities (clinics).
Respectfully submitted,
Amy Rankinen
