4-H Camp Gets Off To A Great Start
4-H Mini Camp at Camp Kenasatake has gotten off to a great start! The young campers are having a great time and the weather is delightful! There hasn't been any home sick campers and everyone is happy. This evening, as the Mini Campers will head home as the traditional 4-H Camp will be kicks off. We expect it will be just as rewarding as mini camp and the campers are all sure to have a good time!

2010 Manure Expo
Penn State University is hosting the 2010 Manure Expo, a national show that will be held in the East for the first time. The Expo will be on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Ag Progress Days site in Rock Springs, PA. The expo would be beneficial for anyone who works with nutrient or manure management including businesses and farm owners. 4-H State Achievement Days
The 66th Annual 4-H State Achievement Days will be held August 3-5, 2010 at the University Park Campus. If anyone is intersted or needs more information, please contact Rebecca Sellers at (570) 726-0022. The registration deadline is July 1st!

Volunteer Training Hours
I would like to remind all Clinton County 4-H Volunteers of the 6 hour training requirement. This was put in place to provide training opportunities for the Clinton County 4-H Volunteers in order to improve and grow the current 4-H program. It really should be asset for our volunteers. This will run with the 4-H year October 1st to September 30th. So, this means you have less than 4 months to complete your trainings. If you have questions or concerns regarding your trainings, please contact me, Rebecca Sellers at (570) 726-0022 ext. 131 or rad5003@psu.edu.
Horse Enrollment Closed
4-H Horse Enrollment was closed June 1, 2010. Club organizational leaders have been notified of members who have incomplete horse information as of June 1, 2010. If club organizational leaders and/or 4-H members have any concerns related to 4-H horse enrollment it is suggested to contact the horse program assistant at the Clinton County Extension Office 570-726-0022.

4-H State Days
Registration for 4-H Sate Achievement Days is now open. The event will be held August 3-5, 2010. The registration deadline is July 1, 2010. Late registrations will be accepted from July 2 – 9, at an increased cost. The rates are listed below. Partial Scholarships will be awarded. 2010 Northeast Leaders Forum
With the first weekend of summer fast approaching and everyone around here heading to the beach, it's a good time to be thinking about the 2010 Northeast 4-H Volunteer Leaders Forum in Rehoboth Beach.
