Fundraiser Begins!

The Clinton County 4-H Discount Cards have arrived and look wonderful!  They have been mailed to your Organizational Leaders to distribute to all the members.  The fundraiser will begin immediatly and should be turned into your leaders in order for them to have time to turn them into the Extension Office no later than June 1, 2010.

The cards will be $10 each and we are asking that each 4-H member sell at least 5 cards.  Each member who sells at least 5 cards will be entered into a drawing for two movie tickets.  Additionally, the 4-H club that sells the most cards per person on average, will receive an Ice Cream Social.  There are all kinds of goodies to be won by supporting your County 4-H Fundraiser!

I hope you will all support this effort as it is very important in order to keep the 4-H program running smoothly.  It will help to provide educational opportunities, supplies and staff for the program.  Happy Selling!

4-H Volunteer Screening

I would like to take this time to remind everyone that 4-H Volunteers must be screened by the 4-H Educator before they are permitted to work with youth alone.  A screened volunteer must be present at all times during   4-H club events.  This is in order to ensure the safety of all youth when participating in the 4-H program.  This is a very important guideline that must always be followed!  So, if you have volunteers who would like to be screened, please have them contact Rebecca Sellers at (570)-726-0022 ext. 131 or rad5003@psu.edu.  Thank you to all our great volunteers who are helping to provide safe enjoyable environments for our 4-H members.
